This song is special to me because it came to me almost like a letter from God. When I was going through a difficult season a few years ago, I sat down and these words and the music came. Sometimes, fear and circumstances that make us afraid can cause us to think God has abandoned us. - just like Jesus' disciples thought when a storm almost capsized their boat (Mark 4:38).
